Creating your student account and identifying which courses you are interested in is the first step. Once you have your account, you will be able to login and request registration in online courses.
You will also be able to use the same account to login and check the status of your course registrations, communicate with the online program, access your grades, course history and information, calendar events, request new courses and much more.
Upon creating your student account, Northern Star Online will notify your parent/guardian and local school district representative of your new account via email.
Parent/guardian will login to approve your intent to enroll in an online course and affirm their review of the program and understanding of the expectations of online learning enrollment.
Local school district representative will login to verify their review of the course syllabi and that the course you have chosen will meet the district's graduation requirements.
Northern Star Online will review the new student account and course request(s) and notify all parties of your enrollment status.
During this initial registration, you will be asked to provide information about your parents or guardians including their email address. They will be sent login information via email that will give them access to the parent's portal to keep them informed about your progress in online courses and other announcements.
